Registration Rules and Procedures

 

The Fall Intramural season starts on the first weekend after Labor Day.

The Spring Intramural season starts on the last weekend in March.

The Squirts season starts one week after the Intramural season starts.

 

Open Registration

 

Open Registration for the Fall season is available for the following dates:

Registration at Birch Lane School will take place on one weekday evening from 7:00PM to 9:00PM and on a Saturday from 10:00AM until 12:00PM.  Birth certificates must be presented for all new players.

 

The registration fee for Open Registration (Online and at Birch Lane) is $70 per player.  A family discount will be given for more than two players from the same family.  The registration fee for the third and fourth player is $45 per player (family maximum $230).

 

The registration fee for Open Registration (Mail-In) is $80 per player.  This includes a non-refundable handling fee of $10 per player.  A family discount will be given for more than two players from the same family.  The registration fee for the third and fourth player is $55 per player (family maximum $270).

 

Late Registration

 

Late Registration for the Fall season is from July 1 through July 31.

Late Registration for the Spring season is from January 1 through January 31.

 

The registration fee for Late Registration is $80 per player.  This includes a non-refundable late fee of $10.  The family discounts will not apply.  Special requests will not be accepted.

 

Returning players can register online or by mail.  New players must register by mail.  Go to the “Registration” link in the table on the club website for complete instructions..

 

After-Cutoff Registration

 

After-Cutoff Registration for the Fall season is from August 1 through August 15.

After-Cutoff Registration for the Spring season is from February 1 through February 28.

 

The registration fee for After-Cutoff Registration is $95 per player.  This includes a non-refundable late fee of $25.  The family discounts will not apply.  Special requests will not be accepted.  Players will be placed on a waiting list (see the Team Placement rules below).  Placement on a team is NOT guaranteed.

 

Returning players can register online or by mail.  New players must register by mail.  Go to the “Registration” link in the table on the club website.

 

Final Registration

 

In order to register after the “After-Cutoff” period ends, registration forms and payment must be dropped off in the MSC Registrar’s mailbox (see address below).  Players will be placed on a waiting list (see the Team Placement rules below).  Placement on a team is NOT guaranteed.  The registration fee for Final Registration is $100.  This includes a non-refundable late fee of $30.  The family discounts will not apply.  Special requests will not be accepted. 

 

Team Placement Rules (Intramurals only)

 

All players registered by January 31 (for the Spring season) and July 31 (for the Fall season) are guaranteed a spot on a team if there are enough players to form teams in that age group.

Refunds

 

No refunds will be made after July 31 (for the Fall season) and after January 31 (for the Spring season).  The registration fee may be forwarded to the following season.  Late fees will not be refunded.
