The Jefferson Cup held in Richmond VA., is currently the #5 ranked Girls Youth Soccer tournament in the country. The Massapequa Force posted a 2-0-1 record within their bracket against highly ranked teams from Virginia ,Pennsylvania , and Maryland ranked 3rd 4th and 6th respectively in their States to advance to the final Championship match against a familiar adversary Smithtown Attack. The Attack were last years Jefferson Cup U13 Champions and 2007 ENYSA State Cup and Nerp Finalists.
Having two teams who know each other so well in this years final set the stage for an exciting and very hard fought game by both squads ending in a 1-0 win for Massapequa.
Congratulations to the Massapequa Force players and Coach Bill Cikos.

Teams Cannot Use McKenna Mon-Fri
(posted 3/27/08 2:23 PM)
click for more...
The Massapequa Soccer Club does not have a Permit from the Massapequa School District for use of the fields at McKenna Elementary School from Monday - Friday. Igor Bishko, Athletic Director for the Massapequa School District, has sent a note to the MSC advising that there is a safety issue as the school's lacrosse teams utilize that field. Please refrain from practicing at McKenna School mid-week. Anyone doing so jeopardizes the great relationship the MSC enjoys with the school district, jeopardizes our permits for all school fields but most importantly, places our children in an unsafe environment.
